Got the Balance Board, it's cool.

I got a Balance Board from here for my niece. It shipped out pretty fast. She seemed to like it. It looks good and feels sturdy, no wobbles or anything. Overall, it was a good experience.

Decent value on sale

I was looking for a Montessori Bookshelf and saw AlmaVidaKids had a seasonal clearance. I signed up for the newsletter and got 10% off, which combined with the sale price made it a pretty good deal. The shipping wasn't free, but the total price was still competitive. The bookshelf is nice, solid wood. For the price I paid, I feel it was worth it. Not sure I'd pay full price, but the discount helped.

Good quality, quick delivery

I ordered the Pikler Triangle and the Slide Attachment for my son. The ordering process on the website was straightforward; I had no issues finding what I needed. Delivery was faster than I expected, it got to Phoenix in about 4 days after shipping confirmation. Everything was well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The wood quality feels very sturdy and smooth, definitely safe for little hands. Assembly was pretty simple, even for one person, the instructions were clear enough. My son loves climbing and sliding. I was worried about stability, but it's really solid once put together. I would buy from here again.

So happy with the Learning Tower!

I absolutely love the Learning Tower I bought from AlmaVidaKids! It's so well-made and was pretty easy to put together. My little one is constantly helping in the kitchen now and feels so included. The quality is amazing, and it looks great too. I'm so glad I found this store. I'm already looking at what else to get. Highly recommend them!

Consistent quality, as always

This is my third purchase from AlmaVidaKids. I previously bought the Wooden Play Gym and a set of Wooden Blocks. This time I ordered the Waldorf Rocker Board. Just like before, the quality of the wood and the craftsmanship is consistently excellent. The rocker board arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. It's nice to know I can rely on their products for durability and safety. My kids still use the other items I got years ago, so I know this will last too. They always deliver what they promise.

Can I use two coupon codes at once? Like a newsletter sign-up and a holiday discount?

D Daisy 1 month ago

I tried that once and it didn't work for me. Usually just one code per order.

N Nina N. 1 month ago

Nope, pretty sure their system only lets you apply one promo code at checkout. Most stores are like that these days anyway.

Hey, thinking about getting a pikler triangle for my nephew. How long does shipping usually take to California?

J Julia 2 months ago

Mine arrived pretty quick, like 5-7 business days to SoCal. Was a pleasant surprise.

C Carly S. 2 months ago

yeah, same here for a learning tower. maybe a week and a half max to NorCal. depends on the exact item sometimes though, check the product page.

Anyone know if their furniture comes assembled? Really don't want to spend hours putting together a toddler bed.

I Ivy G. 1 month ago

Most of it comes flat-packed, I think. My climbing arch needed assembly but it was pretty straightforward, just some screws.

J Josh 1 month ago

Nah, nothing comes fully assembled. But the instructions are usually good and it's not super complicated. Took me about 20 mins for a bookshelf.

What's the deal with free shipping? Is there a minimum order?

N Neil N. 1 month ago

Yeah, I think you have to spend over a certain amount to get free shipping. My last order for a bookshelf qualified.

6

G Greg 1 month ago

Last I checked, it's free shipping over $200 or something like that. It will tell you at checkout if your cart qualifies before you pay.

How's the return policy for toys? My kid is super picky and I'm worried she won't like the Waldorf doll.

N Noor 2 months ago

Returns were easy for me when I got the wrong size blocks. Just made sure everything was in the original packaging.

You usually have 30 days to return most items, but they need to be unused and in their original box. I'd double check their policy page for specifics on toys though, just in case.

Is Lovevery better than AlmaVidaKids for younger toddlers, or are their climbing sets comparable?

J Josh 2 months ago

Lovevery is more subscription box type stuff, very curated. AlmaVidaKids is great for bigger pieces like climbing triangles and open-ended play. Depends what you're looking for.

2

T Tara 2 months ago

I'd say AlmaVidaKids has more substantial 'furniture' type play items, like the Pikler. Lovevery is good but feels more 'toy' focused for specific age ranges. Apples and oranges a bit.

Are AlmaVidaKids products actually made in Europe? Or is it just 'European inspired'?

A Alex Torres 2 months ago

From what I remember, yes, they specifically state they're European-made on the site. That's why I went with them.

6

S Sarah D. 1 month ago

They do say 'European-made' for a lot of their stuff. I think it's part of their whole deal with the Montessori/Waldorf style.

Do they ever do sales? I'm eyeing a few things but want to wait for a good deal if possible.

L Lisa Romero 2 months ago

Oh for sure! They usually have stuff around holidays, like Black Friday and Christmas. Got my balance board during their Easter sale.

3

C Carly Osei 2 months ago

Yeah, sign up for their newsletter, you usually get a first order discount code. Plus they send emails for other sales too, like 15-20% off during big holidays.
